Our Commitment to Preserving Our Water and Woods for Future Generations
Protecting the places where memories are made.

Our Promise to the Planet
At Digital Sportsman, we believe that every booking we facilitate carries with it a sacred responsibility. As the leading all-in-one platform for outdoor adventure businesses, we're in a unique position to champion conservation across the entire outdoor recreation industry. Our platform empowers fishing guides, hunting outfitters, wildlife tour operators, backcountry lodges, rafting companies, and outdoor adventure businesses of all kinds to run their operations efficiently—but more importantly, it connects them with outdoor enthusiasts who share our deep commitment to preserving the lands and waters we all cherish.
We recognize that the pristine flats, crystalline rivers, untouched forests, abundant wildlife habitats, and wilderness areas that draw adventurers from around the world are not infinite resources. They are living ecosystems that require our active protection and stewardship. Whether it's protecting spawning grounds, preserving critical wildlife corridors, maintaining forest health, or ensuring sustainable use of our natural resources—conservation isn't an add-on to our business model. It's woven into the very fabric of who we are and every transaction we process.
Taking Action Through Partnership

Bahamas Fly Fishing Industry Association
Through our partnership with the Bahamas Fly Fishing Industry Association (BFFIA), Digital Sportsman is making a direct and measurable impact on one of the planet's most extraordinary marine ecosystems. 2% of every booking processed through our platform goes directly to conservation efforts in the Bahamas, supporting the protection of the world's largest bonefish flats.
The BFFIA was founded in 2012 with a clear mission: to position the Bahamas as the global leader in sustainable shallow water fly fishing while serving the social, economic, and environmental aspirations of local Bahamian guides and lodge operators.
Their work extends far beyond advocacy—they're on the front lines of marine habitat protection, fighting illegal fishing practices, promoting sustainable catch-and-release techniques, and empowering local communities to become stewards of their own natural resources.
Your bookings through Digital Sportsman fund critical initiatives including habitat restoration projects, marine conservation research, guide training programs that emphasize sustainable practices, and community education efforts that ensure future generations understand the value of protecting these irreplaceable ecosystems. The BFFIA's members aren't just exceptional guides—they're environmental advocates who often serve as the first line of defense against threats to the flats and their inhabitants.

Bahamas Fly Fishing Industry Association
Our partnership with the Bahamas Fly Fishing Industry Association reflects our belief that the future of fly fishing depends on protecting both the waters and the people whose livelihoods are built around them. At Digital Sportsman, we believe conservation and economic sustainability must work hand in hand, and that the guides closest to these fisheries deserve the tools, support, and opportunities to help lead the future of the industry.
The Bahamas is home to one of the most important bone fish fisheries in the world, drawing anglers from across the globe to its pristine flats, mangrove ecosystems, and remote islands. For generations, Bahamian guides have served as stewards of these waters, carrying invaluable local knowledge while supporting coastal communities through sustainable tourism. Through our partnership with the BFFIA, we’re proud to help strengthen that foundation by supporting guide empowerment, conservation initiatives, and long-term economic opportunity throughout the islands.
Founded to protect and advance the interests of Bahamian fly-fishing guides and the fisheries they depend on, the BFFIA has become a leading voice for sustainable development within the industry. Their work focuses on preserving critical marine habitats, advocating for responsible fisheries management, supporting local guides and lodges, and ensuring the economic benefits of fly fishing remain within Bahamian communities.
Together, Digital Sportsman and the BFFIA are providing guides and operators with modern tools that help them grow independent, sustainable businesses while maintaining a deep commitment to conservation. Through the official BFFIA booking site, anglers can directly connect with participating Bahamian guides and lodges while supporting the long-term future of the fishery itself.
As part of this partnership, a portion of every booking made with a participating BFFIA member through the platform will be donated to conservation efforts led by the BFFIA’s organization. These contributions help fund initiatives focused on habitat protection, fisheries preservation, guide advocacy, and the long-term sustainability of Bahamian fly fishing.
This partnership is about more than business. It’s about preserving a world-class fishery, supporting the people who know it best, and ensuring future generations can continue to experience and protect the waters that make The Bahamas one of the most respected fly-fishing destinations in the world.

Coastal Conservation Association
Our partnership with the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) reflects our belief that conservation begins with education and grows through the passion of young people. This year, Digital Sportsman is proud to provide a scholarship through CCA's renowned STAR (Scholarship, Tournament, Advocacy, Research) program to a deserving young person whose dedication to marine conservation exemplifies the future we're working to build.
Founded in 1977 after catastrophic commercial overfishing decimated redfish and speckled trout populations along the Texas coast, CCA has spent nearly five decades fighting to restore and protect our coastal fisheries. Today, with over 125,000 members across the nation, CCA represents the most powerful voice for recreational anglers and coastal conservation in America.
The STAR program is particularly close to our hearts because it combines competition, education, and conservation in a way that transforms young anglers into lifelong stewards. Since its inception, STAR has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to youth anglers across multiple states—with programs in Texas alone distributing over $8.4 million since 1995. These aren't just fishing tournaments; they're conservation movements that teach proper catch-and-release techniques, promote marine stewardship, and inspire the next generation to protect our waters.
Through our scholarship support, we're investing in a young person who will carry forward the values of sustainable fishing, habitat protection, and marine resource management. We're helping to ensure that tomorrow's leaders in conservation and fisheries management are equipped with both the knowledge and the passion to make a difference.
Beyond Partnerships: Our Daily Commitment

Conservation extends into every aspect of how we operate Digital Sportsman. We carefully vet every fishing guide, hunting outfitter, wildlife tour operator, backcountry lodge, and outdoor adventure business in our network to ensure they share our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. We promote catch-and-release fishing, ethical hunting practices, Leave No Trace principles, proper wildlife observation protocols, and sustainable use of natural resources.
We educate both our business partners and their clients on responsible outdoor recreation that minimizes environmental impact while maximizing appreciation for our natural world.
Our platform makes it easy for operators to communicate conservation messages to their clients, share educational resources about local ecosystems, and implement booking policies that prioritize sustainability. We believe that technology can be a force for conservation—by streamlining operations and improving efficiency, we help guides and outfitters spend less time on paperwork and more time sharing their knowledge and passion for protecting the water and woods they call home.
We also recognize that local communities are the true guardians of their natural resources. That's why we support organizations that empower local guides, outfitters, and operators, ensuring that the people who know these lands and waters best have a strong voice in how they're managed and protected. True conservation happens when local knowledge, scientific research, and passionate advocacy work together—whether we're talking about bonefish flats in the Bahamas, elk habitat in the Rockies, or coastal wetlands along the Gulf.
